Hong Kong Tatler Unveils Generation T 2017 List

[HONG KONG – JUNE 28, 2017] – Hong Kong Tatler celebrated 50 of Hong Kong’s rising game changers with the unveiling of its Generation T 2017 list on 23 June at the legendary Mercedes me store.
The annual list recognises entrepreneurs and passionate leaders who are united by a shared drive to make their marks in industries such as art, technology, food and drink, fashion, design, medicine, science, music, film, environment and sport, shaping the city’s future for the better.

The title sponsor, IWC Schaffhausen, selected five individuals within the Generation T 2017 list who have exemplified extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit and are outstanding pioneers in their respective fields: Lindsay Jang of Yardbird, Ronin, Sunday’s Grocery and Miss Bish, Aaron Lee of Dash Serviced Suites, Laurel Chor of Hong Kong Explorers Initiative, Wesley Ng of Casetify, and Tony Verb of Metta.
Research Scientist and National Geographic Explorer, Dr Albert Yu-min Lin delivered a thrilling speech where he spoke of innovative technology shaping life – referring to his bionic leg, the excitement of discovery, and the importance of determination. Hong Kong Tatler announced its donation to the environmental charity Friends of the Earth, where a tree was planted along the Dong Jiang river on behalf of the 50 honourees.

The exclusive invitation-only event welcomed more than 250 VIP guests, who included Generation T 2017 listers, Tatler Tribe members, and their guests: Feiping Chang, Sean Lee-Davies, Gary Liu, Gary Ngan, Janice Leung-Hayes, Justin Sweeting, Luke Grana, Peggy Chan, Ramona Pascual, Tom Grundy, Terence Kwok, and Vicky Cheng.
Fellow Generation T stars and alumni Yen Kuok, Antonia Li, Queenie Rosita Law, Edwin Chuang, Nicholas Ho, and Pearl Shek were dressed from head to toe by contemporary outfitters, Theory.

Tom and Arthur Bray, DJ-ing twin brothers and co-founders of Hong Kong and Shanghai music powerhouse YETI OUT, brought the house down with their hip hop and house beats as guests were served ‘Gin T’ cocktails, exclusively created in collaboration with Generation T 2016 alumni, Victoria Chow of The Woods.
