Social Media Associate – Hong Kong Tatler

Edipresse Media Hong Kong is looking for a social media expert to work on Hong Kong Tatler, the city’s leading luxury lifestyle publication focusing on high society and the best of life.

This person will manage all social media channels and campaigns to increase audience engagement, research and analyse social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, and work with various company departments to promote the Hong Kong Tatler brand through social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all company social media accounts
  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
  • Experiment with new social media formats as and when they are introduced
  • Coordinate social media messaging with advertising departments, brand managers, and quarterly or seasonal company goals
  • Audit and analyse social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns
  • Analyse social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
  • Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
  • Attend events for real-time social media coverage and act as the point of contact for all social media posts

 

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of social media management experience, preferably in luxury lifestyle
  • A degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
  • Impeccable writing and communication skills, Native English preferred
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, detail and layouts
  • An unwavering ability to meet deadlines and good time management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills as well as the ability to plan and coordinate projects
  • A keen interest in luxury lifestyle: fashion, beauty, watches and jewellery, and society
  • Highly creative and always on the lookout for new things
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or odd hours, as required
  • Excellent people skills and a good team player
