Sales Director, Asia (Hong Kong)

Seeking an entrepreneurially-minded and driven sales director to play a key role in growing Edipresse Media Asia’s start-up millennial media brand, Generation T by driving revenue from clients across the Asian region


Key Responsibilities

  • Top line responsibility, including media and event revenue, by selling to clients around the region
  • Develop sales/revenue strategies, tactics and sales plans
  • Develop cross platform selling opportunities
  • Client relationship management: Develop, maintain and improve business relations with all clients and agencies at senior levels and ensure sales teams do the same at the middle management and junior levels where appropriate
  • Increase market share and maximize new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement sound prime position strategies and increase yields per page
  • Representation of Edipresse and the magazines brands
  • Analyze sales statistics, monitor competitor activity and market information on a monthly basis and communicate to the internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to create synergies to ensure an integrated team effort and to develop strong concepts and offerings to take to market



  • Must be have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys working in a start-up environment
  • Can work independently
  • Must be agile, flexible and highly resourceful
  • Can demonstrate meeting/exceeding revenue targets
  • A strong network of clients across industries such as luxury, finance, insurance, telecommunications, fashion
  • Have experience selling in different markets
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be a business driver with at least 5 years’ sales experience
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
