Retention Growth Manager

The Retention Growth Manager will work closely with the digital team to retain audience and to deliver revenue growth for Tatler Asia through retention efforts, including but not limited to newsletters, push notifications, and omnichannel marketing.


  • Set and test new user acquisition and retention strategies to increase list size
  • Drive the development and execution of email marketing calendar
  • Streamline processes to optimize all aspects of newsletter campaigns, from content planning through deployment
  • Initiate new retention campaigns to drive engagement such as push notifications
  • Utilize prior performance and analytics to optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including open rate, CTR, and page views
  • Develop insights through analysis and make recommendations to guide decision making
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet various business goals
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of external competitor activities and market trends to recommend overall program enhancements
  • Support the testing and development of new email capabilities including segmentation, personalization, recommendations, and creative improvements


  • 5+ years online marketing experience, demonstrating success in managing high-volume email marketing from concept to completion
  • Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics and ROI analysis
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to guide your decisions and strategic priorities
  • Ability to synthesize results into email marketing enhancement recommendations
  • A self-starter who is proactive and is driven by success
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing and evolving business requirements and objectives
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • A team player with effective time management, organizational and leadership skills
