T.Dining by Hong Kong Tatler Unveils Best Restaurants 2018

[Hong Kong – 16 November 2017] – More than 700 of Hong Kong’s best chefs and industry elites gathered in Kerry Hotel by Shangri-La Group for the T Dining Best Restaurants Awards – an event that jointly launched Hong Kong Tatler’s inaugural edition of T Dining, as well as recognised the industry’s top achievers who have paved the region’s dining scene.

Starting in 1984 with its Best Restaurants Guide, Hong Kong Tatler has been covering the best of the city’s food and wine scene. Hong Kong Tatler expanded its coverage by launching its digital platform in 2010 which includes a desktop and mobile site and social media handles. The new T.Dining by Hong Kong Tatler is a consolidated platform which will continue covering the city’s dynamic food scene, as well as offer an insider look into the global culinary landscape, gastronomy trends and the best gourmet experiences in Hong Kong, Macau and around the world.

Michel Lamunière, Chairman & CEO of Edipresse Media Asia, says, “T.Dining is the new lifestyle brand by Edipresse Media Asia targeted towards the region’s growing community of passionate food lovers and discerning diners. The T.Dining palate is not about what is the most expensive or the most exclusive—instead, it focuses on what makes an incredible dining experience.”

Charmaine Mok, Editorial Director of Food & Wine, adds, “The 2018 edition of the guide is unlike any other we have published in the past. The format may have changed, but our objective is still the same—to create a platform that celebrates all that is exciting and ground-breaking about the food scene in Hong Kong and Macau. This is a landmark year for the publication, and we will continue to champion the best of the best in our local dining communities and share these experiences with our readers—people who not only love to try new restaurants, but those who truly enjoy the sense of connection that arises from the shared appreciation of good food.”
