Edipresse Media Singapore Restructures Content Team To Meet Demands Of A Changing Media Landscape

[SINGAPORE – August 28, 2017] – As the company’s flagship title, Singapore Tatler, celebrates its 35th anniversary this year end, the company takes the opportunity to shore up its growing content team.

With a flagship title that is closing in on 35 years of history, and a digital platform that is experiencing YOY revenue growth of over 100 per cent for two consecutive years, Edipresse Media Singapore (EMS) is taking the opportunity to restructure its content team to ensure the company is ready to tackle the next wave of business transformation.

Managing Director of EMS, Corinne Ng, says, “For some time now, our editorial teams have not thought of themselves as being platform specific. It’s not a case of print team versus digital team. Rather, we currently work as a content hub to assess a piece of content objectively, look at the platforms we have (digital, social, print) and then decide what the journey of that content would be.”

Ensuring the seamless integration of the teams into one central content hub is Kissa Castañeda who assumes the role of overall EMS Group Editor with effect from 1 October 2017. Her responsibilities include overseeing EMS’ content directors and editors, and working alongside the Sales team to deliver dynamic content solutions to clients and partners. She takes over the portfolio left by Jane Ngiam, who leaves EMS at end of September 2017 for a much-deserved break after a nine-year tenure at Singapore Tatler, where she grew from Managing Editor, to Editor-in-chief, to Group Editor.

Taking over the reins at Singapore Tatler is Terence Lim, who assumes the role of Editor with effect from 1 October 2017. His vast experience as an editor in the Watches and Jewellery fields, as well as in the women’s and men’s Fashion sectors, will ensure a smooth transition into the world of luxury and excellence at Singapore Tatler. He will be supported by Deputy Editor Karishma Tulsidas, another editorial expert in Watches and Jewellery, and a team of content specialists.
